Therefore, for the outdoor home industry, practicing green and sustainable development has become a challenge that must be faced, and will also bring many opportunities for the industry. In this context, all the major home brands around the world are trying to show their attitudes and goals in this field, in order to establish a sustainable and earth-friendly brand image.

The green thinking of enterprises often originates from exhibitions, and as one of the most important home furnishing industry exhibitions in the world, CIFF(Guangzhou) plays an equally important role in promoting sustainable development actions in the home furnishing industry. Every year, home furnishing industry leaders, experts, scholars and visitors from all over the world gather here to discuss the latest trends and technologies in sustainable development, exchange experiences and ideas, empowering the sustainable development of the industry.

March 18-21, the 51st CIFF (Guangzhou) retail furniture exhibition was staged in Guangzhou Pazhou. This year, the outdoor furniture section (outdoor furniture, shading systems and leisure products exhibition) of the CIFF(Guangzhou) focuses on three aspects: material, design and life sustainability, and will show effective and feasible measures to solve the challenges of the sustainable development. 77° media has learned through a series of conversations with exhibitors before the show that outdoor home furnishing companies are actively exploring and practicing the path of sustainable development.

In terms of sustainable materials, exhibitors mainly chose to use environmental-friendly materials and improve the production process to achieve the protection of the environment and resource conservation. Examples of some new sustainable materials are bamboo, wood-plastic composites, sustainable steel, etc. The materials have high and practical performance, and their manufacturing process only generate a relatively small impact on the environment.

We can see that with the trinity of material, design and life, CIFF exhibitors follow green sustainability strategy, and responded positively and proposed many practical solutions.

At the same time, the show organizers have also integrated sustainability into all aspects of the show. For example, the CMF Trend LAB themed special exhibition focus on future design trends in color, materials and surface treatment, and discuss in depth the development of sustainable material applications. At the same time, CMF China (Guangzhou) actively advocates green exhibition, promote the concept of sustainable development of environmental protection to exhibitors and builders, encourage green exhibition, set up guideline to green tear down and promoting green conference, and promoting the green development of the exhibition industry.
